So there is more than one love story to mention in regards to this engagement session. The obvious one, between Kristi and Scott...and then the maybe not so obvious one, between Kristi and myself :) Kristi and I have the most random and wonderful story of how we met and to this day I am so thankful for it! I was working at @radiocoffee one afternoon shortly after moving to Austin and happened to see a gorgeous Vizsla puppers across the patio. There were a few things that I had learned quickly after moving to Austin, and one is that just about everyone is kind and okay with letting you love on their pup if you’re not a totally insane person. So I went up to her and asked if I could pet her dog, Max. Little did I know that quick encounter would lead to many more coffee shop hangs, wine nights and puppy play dates. Kristi is one of the most talented, kind, creative and generous people I know. From day one that we met, I knew she was someone that I would love having in my life. It has been such a gift to watch her step into this new season with her fiance, Scott. They semi-recently bought their home and transformed it into a STUNNING, modern, and simple space that showcases their styles and art so well. We began our session there so they could show off some of their first home together as well as use the time to warm up in front of the camera in a familiar place. After that, we headed downtown and took photos all down South Congress stopping to make them kiss in public and for ice cream (of course). All in all, these two are a dream and I seriously cannot wait to photograph their big day next year! ALL my love.
