Jeslyn and Aaron were amazing to work with. Not only are they CLEARLY super freaking cute, but they are maybe one of the most laid back couples I have ever had! If you are at all familiar with the wedding industry, you know how rare that can be. They rolled with the punches all day long and made it work as well as making it a breeze to work with THEM! The plan was for the ceremony to take place on their gorgeous ski lake property located right in front of their house. A few weeks prior, Jeslyn and I had gone out and found the perfect place for the two to exchange their vows. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, everything is beautifully in place exactly the way we had envisioned it, however, in true Texas fashion, it had been raining for quite a while leading up to the time we had planned to begin the ceremony. This would have destroyed most brides, but you could barely even tell there was a kink in the plan with Jeslyn! They decided they were both fine with getting a little wet, and guests could have umbrellas. Aaron and a couple of his guys went and set up a tarp over the harpist so that she could continue to play in case of any further drizzle and the show went on. Serendipitously, the rain held off for almost the exact window of their ceremony and the bottom dropped out just a few minutes after their exit! The ceremony was kept small, with only primarily family attending, while the rest of their friends waited for the couple at the reception venue!! Once Jeslyn and Aaron rolled up, everyone was VERY ready to party...and party they did! One of the most fun receptions to capture. Not to mention, they had pizza catered, so can you really go wrong? To any of my future brides, the moral of the story is, everything probably will not go exactly as planned on your wedding day. And that is OKAY! Every little part is something that makes it unique to your day. And the coolest part is that you’re still married and spending the rest of your life with your best friend regardless of what happens! So don’t stress the small stuff; and it’s all small stuff ;)
