I could rave endlessly about this couple. During my very first meeting with Stevie, the gentleness of her heart was so evident even in the casual conversation we started with. It didn’t take long for us to enter into much deeper conversation about life and relationships and God. She is just one of those people who provide a safe space for you to be authentic even in first conversations. Towards the end of that meeting Jesse stopped by and I saw instantly why they had chosen each other and fit so well together. Their heart’s compliment each other with their compassion and kindness and love for people.
On top of Stevie having one of the most beautiful personalities I’ve ever experienced, when I saw her wedding dress I almost killed over then and there. She was STUNNING in her long sleeve, glitter gown. Like she just walked off of a Hollywood movie set. This stunning couple turned heads nonstop while we were shooting their formals downtown. The day was gorgeous however VERY cold. But they toughed it out and we spent a good bit of time pre-ceremony cuddling on a rooftop post their first look. The rest of the day went seamlessly and this crowd was ready to PARTY after the ceremony ended. I think all but maybe 5 people were on the dance floor all night! I found myself laughing out loud more than once while editing their photos just remembering and reliving the energy that was in that room as all their closest friends and family celebrated them. They were sent off for the night with one of my favorite exits, fake snow!! It was just as magical as the real thing :) Here is a highlight reel from the Hardy’s wedding day.
